What age suits Scratch?+
Most primary ages. Younger children work on simpler projects, older ones build games with scoring and levels.
Does my child need their own computer?+
A computer or laptop with a browser. Scratch runs online and is free.
Is it just play?+
The projects are fun by design, but the underlying work - sequencing, loops, conditionals, debugging - is genuine computational thinking.
When should they move to Python?+
Usually upper primary or lower secondary, once the concepts are secure and typing is not a barrier. We will tell you when.
