What Is Speed Reading?
A dedicated tutor, a plan around school, and patient practice - not generic worksheets.
-
01
Comprehension Measured Throughout
Every speed gain is checked against understanding. Speed that costs comprehension is not progress.
-
02
Honest About the Limits
Nobody reads a dense text at a thousand words a minute with full understanding. We teach efficiency, not a party trick.
-
03
Applied to Real Schoolwork
Practice uses the texts your child actually has to read.

Common Questions, Answered
Can't find what you need? Our academic advisors are available in Singapore time.
Does speed reading really work?+
Efficiency gains are real - reducing regression and subvocalising helps most readers. Claims of enormous speeds with full comprehension are not credible, and we will not make them.
Will comprehension suffer?+
Not if it is taught properly. We measure comprehension throughout, and slow down wherever the text demands it.
What age suits it?+
Upper primary upwards, once reading is fluent. It is most useful for students with heavy reading loads.
How long before we see a difference?+
Most students see measurable gains within a term, though the biggest change is usually knowing when not to read fast.
