Key Topics in Our Psychology Program

Psychology is a research subject rather than a subject about feelings. Students who treat it as science do markedly better than those who do not.

Why families stay

What Is Psychology?

A dedicated tutor, a plan around school, and patient practice - not generic worksheets.

  1. 01

    Research Methods First

Methods and ethics underpin every topic, and students who secure them find the content far easier.

  2. 02

    Evidence-Based Writing

Using a study as evidence and noting its limits is the assessed skill, and it is teachable.

  3. 03

    Honest About Availability

Psychology is offered by some schools and not others in Singapore. We tutor the course your school runs, and support independent candidates.

Homework stopped being a fight. The tutor explained it the way school does, and my child started working independently.

Questions parents ask

Common Questions, Answered

Can't find what you need? Our academic advisors are available in Singapore time.

Is Psychology offered in Singapore schools?+
Some schools offer it at senior level and many do not, so availability varies. We tutor whichever course your school runs, and also support students studying it independently.
Is it a science subject?+
The content is genuinely scientific - research methods, ethics and empirical evidence sit at its centre - though the writing is closer to a humanities subject.
Does it help with university psychology?+
Yes, particularly the research methods and statistics, which is where many first-year students are caught out.
Is this therapy?+
No. This is academic tutoring. If your child needs emotional support, that is a matter for your school counsellor or GP rather than a tutor.
