Why it works

What Is High School French in Canada?

Senior French is where the subject stops being vocabulary lists and starts being communication under assessment. Ontario runs Core French as FSF courses through to FSF4U, alongside Extended (FEF) and Immersion (FIF) streams. British Columbia offers French 9 through 12 plus Immersion. Alberta runs French as a Second Language 10-20-30. Across all of them the oral component carries real weight, and many students who write competently still lose marks the moment they have to speak unprepared. That is the gap one-to-one work closes fastest.

  • 01 Core, Extended and Immersion streams supported
  • 02 Same dedicated tutor for continuity
  • 03 Oral assessment rehearsed, not just written work

Questions parents ask

Common Questions, Answered

Can't find what you need? Our academic advisors are available across Canadian time zones.

Which French courses do you cover?+
Ontario FSF, FEF and FIF courses through to Grade 12, BC French 9 to 12 and Immersion, and Alberta French as a Second Language 10, 20 and 30.
Can you prepare my teen for the DELF?+
Yes, across all four competencies - listening, reading, writing and speaking - at the B1 or B2 level they are entered for.
My teen writes well but freezes in oral assessments. Can you help?+
Yes, and it is the single most common reason families book senior French. Speaking under pressure is a rehearsable skill, and one-to-one sessions are the only realistic place to rehearse it.
Do you support students taking other subjects in French?+
Yes. Immersion students often need help with the subject rather than the language, and we can work on both together.
