Why it works

What Is the IB Diploma Programme?

The IB Diploma Programme is a two-year pre-university course taken in Grades 11 and 12 at IB World Schools across Canada. Students take six subjects at Higher or Standard Level and complete three core components - Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service - for a total out of 45 points. What makes the DP demanding is rarely any single subject: it is the coursework running in parallel with examined content. Our tutors support both the subject teaching and the deadlines around it.

  • 01 HL and SL subject teaching plus core component support
  • 02 Same dedicated tutor for continuity
  • 03 Work marked against published IB assessment criteria

Common Questions, Answered

Can't find what you need? Our academic advisors are available across Canadian time zones.

Which IB subjects do you tutor?+
Mathematics AA and AI at HL and SL, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at HL and SL, and English A Literature and Language and Literature. We also support Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay across subjects.
Can you help with Internal Assessments and the Extended Essay?+
Yes. We help students choose a question that is actually answerable within the word count, structure the work against the assessment criteria, and refine drafts. We guide and give feedback - the work stays the student's own, as IB academic honesty requires.
Do you support both HL and SL?+
Yes, at both levels, including students deciding whether to move between them. The choice affects university offers, so it is worth getting right early.
How is IB different from AP?+
AP is subject-by-subject with a single May exam per course. The IB Diploma is a whole two-year programme with six subjects, coursework, and the TOK, Extended Essay and CAS core - so the challenge is as much workload management as subject difficulty.
