Which physics courses do you cover?+
Ontario SPH3U and SPH4U, BC Physics 11 and Physics 12, and Alberta Physics 20 and Physics 30 - plus Grade 9 and 10 science where physics is taught as a strand.
Do you prepare students for the Alberta Physics 30 diploma exam?+
Yes. Diploma results count toward the final course mark, so we work on numerical response and written-response technique alongside the content.
My teen understands the theory but cannot do the problems. Is that normal?+
It is the single most common reason families come to us for physics. Understanding a principle and knowing which principle a given problem calls for are different skills, and the second one is taught by working problems with feedback - which is exactly what one-to-one sessions are for.
Do I need strong maths for senior physics?+
Yes, and it is often the real blocker. Where trigonometry or algebra is holding a student back, we address that directly inside the physics sessions rather than treating it as a separate problem.
